Key Responsibilities
Pizza Preparation:Prepare hand-stretched dough, sauces, and toppings for a variety of pizzas including fusion styles like chicken tikka pizza, curry pizza, and spicy masala paneer pizza.
Oven Operation:Operate conveyor gas fired ovens with precision to ensure perfect crusts and consistent baking.
Menu Innovation:Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new pizza concepts that blend Pakistani spices and ingredients with classic pizza formats.
Quality Control:Maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and portion control.
Hygiene & Safety:Ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, EHO).
Teamwork:Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to support smooth service and prep.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of dough preparation, fermentation, and baking techniques.
Familiarity with Pakistani flavours and ingredients is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of food hygiene and allergen protocols.
Desirable Attributes
Culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
Experience in fusion or international cuisine.
Passion for creativity and cultural storytelling through food.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques.
