Key Responsibilities

Menu Development:Design and execute authentic Pakistani menus with modern flair, highlighting regional specialties such as Lahori chargrills, Afghani biryanis, and Karachi-style seafood.

Team Leadership:Manage, train, and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver consistent excellence.

Quality Control:Ensure high standards of food presentation, taste, and hygiene in line with HACCP and EHO regulations.

Supplier Relations:Source premium ingredients, including halal meats and South Asian spices, from trusted local and international suppliers.

Operational Efficiency:Oversee kitchen operations, stock control, and cost management to meet business targets.

Customer Experience:Collaborate with front-of-house to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-end South Asian or international restaurant.

Deep understanding of Pakistani cuisine, including tandoor techniques, spice blending, and regional cooking styles.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Knowledge of food safety, allergen management, and kitchen compliance standards.

Desirable Attributes

Culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

Experience with menu engineering and food cost analysis.

Familiarity with modern plating and fusion techniques.

Passion for cultural storytelling through food.
